On behalf of the Executive Committee, coaches, managers, volunteers and supporters, I would like to welcome you to the 2026 season with the Fassifern Bombers.
Whether you are returning for another year or joining our Bombers family for the first time, we are excited to have you with us and look forward to a fantastic season ahead.
As we begin another year of rugby league, our focus remains on providing a safe, inclusive and enjoyable environment where players can develop their skills, build confidence, create lifelong friendships and most importantly, have fun.
We are incredibly proud of the strong community that exists within our Club. The Bombers are more than just a rugby league club—we are a family. Our success on and off the field is built on the dedication of volunteers, coaches, managers, sponsors, parents and supporters who give their time to create opportunities for our players.
Volunteers Make Our Club Possible
Like all community sporting clubs, we rely heavily on volunteers to ensure the season runs smoothly.
From canteen shifts and ground set-up to timekeeping, field marshalling and game day support, every contribution helps. Home game days in particular require many volunteers to assist throughout the day.
If you are new to the Club and unsure where you can help, please don't hesitate to speak with your Team Manager or our Volunteer Coordinator. There are many different roles available and we will always work with you to find something that suits your comfort level and availability.
Every hour volunteered helps create a better experience for our players.
Communication is Key
We understand that starting a new season often comes with plenty of questions.
Your Team Manager should always be your first point of contact for team-related matters. If they are unable to assist, they will help direct you to the appropriate Club official.
We are committed to being approachable, transparent and supportive, and encourage all families to communicate respectfully and constructively throughout the season.
Creating a Positive Club Culture
The Executive Committee asks all players, parents, coaches, managers and supporters to help us foster a positive and respectful environment.
Our players learn not only from their coaches, but also from the behaviour of the adults around them. We ask everyone to:
- Treat all players with encouragement and respect.
- Support coaches, managers and volunteers.
- Respect match officials and opposition teams.
- Raise concerns through the appropriate Club processes.
- Remember that rugby league is a game and should be enjoyed by all participants.
We are committed to ensuring Fassifern Bombers remains a club where every player feels welcome, valued and supported.
Looking Ahead
The 2026 season promises to be an exciting one. We are looking forward to seeing our teams take the field, celebrating achievements both big and small, and creating lasting memories throughout the year.
Thank you for choosing Fassifern Bombers as your club. We appreciate your support and look forward to sharing another successful season together.
If you ever have questions, concerns or simply want to get involved, please reach out to your Team Manager or a member of the Committee.
Let's make 2026 a season to remember.
One Club, One Family
Kind regards,
Lauren Miller
